Sara Walker is a theoretical physicist and astrobiologist known for her work on reconceptualizing our understanding of what life is in terms of fundamental laws of nature. During her fellowship year she is focused on bringing concepts of life to the planetary scale and contextualizing the evolutionary transitions in technology we are observing happening around us now within the deep evolutionary history of life.
