Yuanyuan Liu serves as the Research and Program Coordinator. Her primary responsibilities involve initiating projects and overseeing program operations, with a focus predominantly on philosophy, though her scope extends beyond that.

She earned her PhD in philosophy from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville and also possesses both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Philosophy.

Before joining the Berggruen Institute, Yuanyuan held a Boya postdoctoral position in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Peking University. Her specialization encompasses the philosophy of action, ethics, and the philosophy of science and technology.
